Dear Friends,
For over 55 years Thrill Show Productions has proudly served Ontario Fairs and beyond with family oriented Motorsports entertainment.
Today, it is with great difficulty and heavy hearts we say goodbye. It is time for us to take our foot off the gas, slow down, and enjoy the ride. It is time for us to make a few pit stops along this road trip, devoting more time to our families, and perhaps now take that road less travelled. If COVID has taught us anything, it is that tomorrow is never promised.
We wish to extend our sincere thanks to all have enjoyed this road trip with us. You have been with us on the hottest, coldest, wettest and dirtiest of days – endured the best and the worst racing conditions – agonized in defeat and relished in victory whether as a valued participant, the biggest fan, or steadfast Fair member/volunteer. Win or lose – rain or shine – you kept coming back! If that isn’t an example of true sportsmanship we don’t know what is! You have been integral to our success and we are forever
grateful.
And we couldn’t have done this without the leadership and professionalism of our Forefathers, Twins Walter and late Bill Williams, paving the way years ago when they first introduced a segment of crashing cars in their stunt shows! Who knew Demolition Derbies would become such a crowd favourite across the nation?
Of course over the years, the Twins fostered a very close-knit family of crew members who gave so much of their time to help make the magic happen. We are so fortunate to continue to have that today
with our small but mighty Thrill Show crew and words cannot express how much love and appreciation we feel for them! We will miss you!
So, what happens next? Well, instead of destroying cars, Willie is trying very hard to preserve them by restoring his much loved AMC collection. Chris and Jen are busy planning their next adventure. Sherry is taking up the arts. Our kids are entering the next exciting chapter of their lives as independent adults. Walter and Janet are chronicling the inspiring lives of the Williams Twins in a forthcoming book!
Until we meet again – thanks for the memories!
